What UnityZM is
Not an application. A platform of integrated domains.
Most software reaching Zambian businesses is adapted from elsewhere: payment flows that assume card rails, tax modules that have never heard of Smart Invoice, identity systems built for documents we do not issue.
UnityZM starts from the opposite premise. It is designed against Zambian rails first — mobile money, bank transfers, ZRA Smart Invoice, the National Payment System Act — and against the regulatory perimeter that PACRA, ZRA, the Bank of Zambia, the Data Protection Commission and the FIC actually enforce.
Because the domains share one data model, a business that starts with checkout does not have to rebuild when it needs settlement, invoicing or logistics. It is built on Elixir and the BEAM, a runtime designed for systems that stay up. Infrastructure that handles money and identity is judged on the day it is under pressure, not the day it is demonstrated.
How to read the mark
At the centre, the U. That is you.
Our mark is not decoration — it is a legend. U as in you: the user at the centre of it all. Around you, two loops of switchable signal. Either can be lit alone, both together, or neither, and what is lit tells you which part of the platform is in play.
The U — you
U as in you: the person or business everything else is arranged around. Four strokes in the colours of the flag, and the one part of the mark that never changes.
Inner loop — the economy
The flag's own meanings: green for agriculture, red for the struggle for freedom, black for the Zambian people, orange for copper.
Outer loop — the edition
Six segments, one per edition. Light one and you have named the slice of the platform being deployed.

An edition is a coherent slice of the platform someone can run on its own — not a module, not a pricing tier. Each types a whole deployment: which surfaces are public, which are internal, what compliance applies, and how it is paid for.

The inner loop uses the national flag's own colours, in the sense the flag gives them. Nothing was invented for the brand.

Sovereignty in 2026 also means registries, identity and payment rails that stay in the country, under Zambian law.

When money moves
The U becomes the K.
Our mark has a U in it. Turn it into money and it becomes a K — the kwacha. Same four strokes, same four colours. Nothing added, nothing taken away.
Every run of the U is a single arc, so the change is a numeric interpolation rather than a cross-fade: the bowl unrolls into the K's arms. It is the same argument the platform makes. You do not replace the system to do something new with it.

A phone and an authenticator
No password to forget and no email required. You enrol a phone number against an authenticator app, confirm one code, and you have an identity that works across every service on the rail.
AI credits, free to start
A credit wallet comes with the account, and there are free credits to claim. AI work on the platform is metered against it, so you can see what you spent rather than guess.
Three showcase ads a day
Put what you make in front of people already on the rail. The daily quota is deliberate: a feed worth reading is one nobody can flood.
The directory
The rail is only useful if people can find each other.
Every participant — a store, a workshop, a carrier, a creator — is listed and searchable in one public directory. It widens every time somebody joins, and it is the same record the platform settles against, not a separate marketing listing that drifts out of date.

UnityZM Technologies is a Zambian-owned, Zambian-built and self-funded company, based in Lusaka.
Intellectual property
The company operates a licence-never-assign posture across all commercial engagements. Clients licence what they deploy; ownership does not transfer.
Compliance perimeter
Designed against what PACRA, ZRA, the Bank of Zambia, the Data Protection Commission and the FIC actually enforce — treated as the specification, not bolted on afterwards.
Sovereignty, practically
Data about Zambian citizens and businesses should sit under Zambian law, on infrastructure Zambian institutions can audit. The migration toward that is deliberate and staged.
What we are not
Not an ERP. No company-wide HR, no CRM, no group accounting. Being clear about the boundary is what makes the rest believable.
